The EFT Center of Los Angeles is proud to host ICEEFT Certified Trainer Ali Barbosa Calderon for this 3-Day Immersive Introductory Course in Emotionally Focused Therapy with Individuals (EFIT). This ICEEFT-endorsed training is the introductory 24+ hour training in EFIT, and the first step towards certification in EFT for Individuals*. This workshop equips therapists with the competencies to tune into and harness the power of emotions, enabling the transformation of clients’ self-concept and relational bonds. Participants learn how to delve into the heart of attachment and humanistic experiential perspectives, explore the intricacies of affect regulation, and unveil the therapeutic dance of EFIT Tango to facilitate corrective emotional experiences. Completion of EFIT Essentials provides therapists with the tools to create lasting change in their clients’ lives.
This course is appropriate for mental health professionals and graduate students. EFIT Essentials training is designed to be an immersive and enriching professional development opportunity, aimed at equipping mental health professionals with the essential skills and knowledge necessary for effective EFIT practice. Through a blend of theoretical teachings, practical exercises, and collaborative learning, this program aims to foster a deeper understanding and proficient application of the EFIT model, empowering participants to contribute to the mental health and well-being of individuals they serve

*EFIT Essentials is equivalent to EFIT Level 1 + EFIT Level 2. Note: During 2024, EFIT Levels 1&2 will be replaced by EFIT Essentials. Unless you plan on taking EFIT Levels 1 & 2 in quick succession, we strongly recommend that therapists enroll in an Essentials course.
