EFTCLA Supervisor Office Hours with Susan Thau

Feeling stuck with a case or finding yourself in need of a quick EFT consultation or clarity on an element of EFT? Or perhaps you’re feeling isolated in your practice and want to meet other members in a supportive EFT learning space. One thing we know is that we can’t learn EFT alone, and even the most seasoned practitioners seek support and consultation in their work.

As an EFTCLA member, you have access to one free hour of EFT Supervisor Office Hours a month for support and consultation on your EFT work. If you don’t have a particular question or case you need support with, you are welcome to observe the consultation of your colleagues. This is a group consultation space and is free to all EFTCLA members. If you are not an EFTCLA member and would like to join, please become a member here. Each month a different supervisor or supervisor-in-training holds Office Hours so you can learn from a wide range of styles and people in your L.A. community!

Join Certified EFT Supervisor Susan Thau’s Office Hours Friday October 13 from 12-1 PST. Please RSVP directly with Susan for her Office Hours Zoom Room and let Susan know if you have a consultation question or if you are there to learn from others’ questions / case presentations.

About your Supervisor: Susan is a licensed clinical psychologist and a psychoanalyst. After completing her analytic training, she participated in an ongoing study group with Allan Schore Ph.D. where she learned in depth more about our brains, affect regulation and attachment.  Susan was drawn to EFT because of its emphasis on attachment and the dynamics of  intimate relationships. Susan is grateful to be part of the community of people worldwide who help me to keep growing and learning about the amazing world of humans, individually and in partnerships.

Susan says “Through my patients, am given the privilege of sitting with people to explore what these experiences mean. I welcome the opportunity to work with individuals and couples who are curious and interested in deepening their lives and connections. As a perpetual student, I have continued my training and studies. I look forward to talking about the incredible and complex dynamic involved in couples work and the interplay of the couples internal experience as well as how it affects us as therapists internally and in the actual consulting room.”

In addition to being an analyst, Susan is an EFT certified therapist and supervisor, and also completed training in discernment counseling with Willian Doherty.
